Major project - the last small piece

So far so good today. I hopefully managed to end the series of small pieces. This one I would like to show from a different perspective. I enjoy the game with shadows and lights. To make it easier during the process I drew a sun in the left corner. With that, I will know exactly which part of the body will be the brightest. The picture above shows the biggest obstacle. When I released the sketch layer, the real picked colours were too vivid. It persuaded me to tone it down a little. So, I took a brush and enjoy myself with granularity, flow and pressure. I wanted to make it fresh. At the end the final touches included those green line-shapes.  Here, I repeated the same process as with previous entries with a major project. The only thing what I will change, it is the mockup shoot. I should cut the edges for a better preview of overall graffiti work. To sum up, it is a satisfactory result for me.

Major project - evaluation continuation

Another long session in Eric Wood building and I came out with second final graffiti piece. Like in the previous one, I have chosen a drawing from my sketchbook and drag it into an A4 format.  With the feather tool, I have created the shape of each part of the body. In addition, I picked the colours. Today I have been more focused on the brush granularity. I have switched the spacing and size. The effect was not the same as yesterday. The distinguish between patterns, especially with 'dots' pattern and shadows on the shape edges. Because the significant in this work is the hand. I pulled a lot of effort to sketch the wrinkles and place the bright section. I had to make some glimpses before overall drawing part gestures. Like before, I placed the png format into the mockup wall. It will be the same picture as yesterday. I think is more suited to this design.

Major project - evaluation

Today I have to spend a few hours in front of the Wacom computer working on one of the sketches. I picked up one of the ideas, then I managed a few variations and perspectives to endure the initial objects. I had taken from the book  Street sketchbook  (2007) some inspirations how to illustrate the body or face areas.   In this example, it was a face mask and viruses. All the process I have been preparing in Photoshop. I have to work on A4 format with 400dpi pix/inch, which is a standard ratio for illustration. I insert screenshots of how my work has been evaluating.  Starting from a cut of the sketch form my board and released into my new page. The blank page I covered with the drawing. I have changed the sizes, created the new layers. Then I made each element by the feather tool. Everything I tried to keep in greyscale to define the distance up to the foreground.  And the grey tones I switched into the wide colour range. I have been ...

Developing idea for major project

Today I was focusing on the major project. I visualized my process of thinking, mostly basing on my sketchbook. To see the process, please check this  link .  I have spent some hours to analyzing the other artists' process. I found out interesting ideas, keywords which will help me in developing my idea. Some of them I included in my digital sketches. The project should concentrate on flustrating aspects of the current situation. Lots of ideas come into my mind, so I decided to note each one. Firstly, I made notes on piece of paper or my phone then collected on sketchbook sheets. Then I can easily notice my development. Sheets dragged on milanote website, have been made digitally on Photoshop. Working on Wacom computers led me to be imaginative. Explore variations of tools and functions will prepare me to the final works. I can precise the colours and texture without putting a lot of effort. This way digital outcomes allow me to distinct differences between real drawing. The b...

The website source

Today in terms of self-study time I am going to try out the different software. Which should be helpful, especially when we do not exactly know which program will appropriately initiate the idea. It is well-known, that the right tool will lead to the perfect final outcome. As I discussed with my tutor the details of my project, as I found the wide possibilities from online sources.                              The digital sketchbook sheets seemed to be a demanding accurately describes how in quick steps get through the program. Each tool and bars are tagged. There is also a wide range of brushes, pencils and effects. The website for the basic actions is working without trouble.  The additional prompt is to take a chance to work on your picture. And I took the occasion to try out the other functions. The interesting one could drop a shadow on all current objects on the layer. But after a longer session, I hav...

Research post

On today's class, I will be moving the inspiration for my sign-off project.  According to my series of 4 graffiti conceptions, it can find out really controversial. Taking this opportunity, I would like to bring closer a Banksy's creations. This project will include aspects relating to his conception of urban art. Follow your dreams - Cancelled  (2010) [Graffiti] link to the website Banksy is an anonymous artist from Bristol. His spray paintings in the 1990s were truly unique. In those times music and art had a major impact on the young generation. He is using a well-known technique with stencils. 'He was making street art into something else, a kind of performance art' (Shove, G. (ed.) (2012). The aim points of his art have a attend to attack the establishment. He gets into the media through performance art. Provoking people to change mindsets about street art. Not as a devastating the public area. To point out the non-ordinary value of art. Give the base to consideri...

Contact page on wix website

On today's session, I uploaded more information to my Wix website. I decided to lead the page with the basic layout. Customizing  contact me  page was without problems. White background with black icons has a contrasting role. It is clearly related to the main body of my website.  Thanks to the space between each section and fonts which I have used, it looks more professional. I have been following the structure to  simplify  future maintenance in the application and navigation, especially for future costumers. The subscription scheme should not become discouraging. That is why I put just a few questions to focus on a new viewer.    I think that I have given sufficient information. I will keep updating the website. I hope this leads me to gain more onlookers in future. PProfessional websites include the same stuff as mine. For example late Stuart Sutcliffe's page. Which I have been inspiring with his outcomes. His website looks so professional. But acc...
