Set Procject: Finalisation

Here, I sharing with the process of placeing imagines into a mockup. I solved the issue with proper cutting the document. And also presented the second visualisation with a blue background.

Set Project: Finishing illustration - Characters

Yesterday, I have researched a few interesting pictures from the Native American's Ledger art. I suggested the colours and unique shapes of horses for instance. I made another mood board on Milanote. This time, with only six pictures due to the full storage on my account. Either way, it helped me with determinate the general colours of the clothes and skin tones. I repeated the same process with the colour wheel and I only needed to refill characters. Firstly, I made a new group with layers for the sketches. I made them straight on the ready background. This allowed me to compare the overall look with the environment. I stopped on the last part of the Leporello with the horse. Considering perspective, it has the most difficult shape to draw. After a few failed attempts, I found the perfect picture on the web. I just took a screenshot and pasted it with low opacity. I used this only as a suggestion to the shape. Finally, I have inspired by the Ledger drawings. Here I shared the prev...

Set Project: Third part of the background

Today, I posted the last piece of the background. Still, it is not a final version. Overall, I need to draw shapes of the grass and characters. And welcome to the  step by step  journey.     By surprise, it is the first part of the Leporello. As I deducted from the last post, I needed to change the textures. It was a lot of the single brush effect. Almost everywhere. The last part I assumed as the most challenging. Because this one should finish the story with incredible northern lights. Therefore the expectations were extremely high. Maybe that is why I put things off till later with my duties. This part, is clearly repeat each time. Honestly,  site with color palette  is very useful. This time, I found it easier to match both sides. It was much convenient to create a shape of the mountain, as well as the ground. Also, this time I bet on myself with the landscape. I cannot find anything matching my vision of this part. Therefore I made it by myself. Shadin...

Set Project: Second part of the background

I have spent a few days glue things together. Finally, I finished the background of the Leporello. I decided to keep it in a separate post.  This part is about the middle (maturity) age. I had to change the sketch in regards to the picture that I found. This one (below) I took from my Milanote pictures folder as well as the previous part. I do like the colours of the sky, it is a great capture of the mountains and the lake. I took a screenshot and pasted it onto Photoshop. I created an almost invisible layer, only for shapes (approximately). When I reckon that I no longer need this tracing layer, I started to fill the colours. For the sky, etc. Again, I repeated the same process. But I get used to the brushes and their options. It was not a random free picked brush. I know now what effect I want to obtain.  I focused on light on the first stage. Considering main colours, taken straight from the colour palette. I matched this illustration with the first part. Apparently, it did...
