Welcome to my blog!

Tell me something about yourself:  I am a young artist studying IYZ Art&Design with Graphic Design BA, in De Montfort University. Live in the Leicester city centre. My pathway started since I have been influenced by a close family by Claude Monet’s works. Paintings made by my uncle’s hands were great copies. Those pieces of art have been surrounding me still. I have been studying at Art School in Bydgoszcz, were I gain helpful skills and workshop.  I would like to explore more possibilities to share my skills. The significant key of my artworks made by oil paints is the variously, including different textures and mediums. I’m sure that our expressions and feelings made us artists. In my artworks, I’m trying to take after my deep feelings of research and my inquisitiveness. Furthermore, I’m fascinated by the 50’s and 60’s century artists. Especially, Futurist artist like Boccioni, Silva, Gonzalez. Their appearance have been a tremendous impact on my art.  Claude Monet...

Final Reflective Post

This is the final reflective post, and recalling the last session will reflect my experience from this term and my future decisions. The work that I did this term has a satisfactory result which I observing through the course. I have learned how to connect my interest to the real world, crossing mind boundaries and giving an art space for myself despite the current time. The last project with ''Sgt Pepper's lyric book'' has personally, the best evaluation in comparison to the previous project. I found that I can research a lot and choose the relevant information to translate into my outcomes. However, the extended artists' profiles made confusion in some way. I noticed it particularly by creating a book cover. Collecting too much information has introduced the opposite of exceptional illustration tailored to make it as simple as it can be. I made a fault in this term, therefore, in my next tasks, I will try to determine only a few inspirations and transit them ...

Set Project: Final 3D piece

It is high time to show the final 3D outcome. I have been waiting for a sunny day to take a picture of Mr Kite. I found a perfect corner in the window ledge. I managed to find some white sheets for the ''session''. Unfortunately, they were curved and undulating and having no extra ones I tried to make it professional.  All this showcase is after Photoshop edit.  On those shoots I wanted to emphasise his posture. Nevertheless, it is still a bit stiff. Here I captured all his attributes in front of him. And one more, with his hands up. Which personally, I can compare them with gorilla's.  I took two pictures from different angles. In order to zoom in the portrait details. In addition, one from the front. I made a few mistakes regarding background preparation. I could glue or taped pages together to avoid the gaps. However, the software edit made a brighter impression, which is definitely an advantage.  Maybe a thicker paper and front light would reach a more prof...

Set Project: Final stage

Today I started finalising the InDesign version of the book. I made initial improvements in terms of the page layout. The inspiration of how to introduce a more professional look I took from  The Beatles illustrated lyrics.  I bought this book in order to understand the graphic design of the late sixties. The author, Alan Aldridge also had a big contribution in illustrations. However, the book includes various artists from the last decade.  My book is rather different, it has a comic construction and the illustration I put in strips.  Nevertheless, as you can see, I transit the blue line under the songs titles as well. I was not sure, from the beginning about the text field. When I saw the example from Aldridge's book, I am sure that I made a decent effort. I tried my best in terms of managing the space per page.  When I established this work as a book, I needed to embed the page numbers.                  I sav...
