Choosing a website template

On today's lesson we arranged the portfolio website.

I decided to choose the general template for graphic designers. I really enjoy the structure of the main page. I can find it clearly jump into the bookmarks. The same as scrolling the page for interesting section.

''Whether you prefer a trendy postcard look or you’re going for a more editorial style blog - there’s a stunning layout for everyone.''(Wix) According to this words, I decided to believe them and leave the ready made strip.

But I reckon that the menu button is to heavy in the overall layout. I have changed this into a Times New Roman font with fine lines above the title and under it. The idea of keeping viewer attention encourage me to customise the menu button at the end of the page as well. I chose an oval skin tone shape to easy identify the contain text.

I can't wait to post loads of engaging content. But I am not so sure what exactly I will define on the content pages. I only have a major project to present. So if I would like to leave the customised page with my original outcomes - it is not possible. I would like to keep track and insert my stuff into a layout. It is distracting when I open my website with someone's photos. To sum up, it is difficult to keep the blog organized. But I pull a lot of effort to allow visitors to explore more of what interests them.

Also, I have managed to find options for mobile view. I only needed to switch the text in some spaces. The result is satisfying for me.

To generate the page with this layout, I have been inspiring by the Stuart Sutcliffe website. In memory of his artworks, they created a decent portfolio and tidy good looking page.
'home'
And 'about me' page below

It is a simple, encouraging page. I highly recommended navigating the other sections, such as 'about me' and 'artworks'. In my next steps, I will be based on his website.
