Today I will look into developing my idea for Purple Haze.
This post was created after I had read a comment from my tutor. I must admit that I was focused on the outcome too fast. I think that an overwhelming is the relation to the progression route, which in my case it is an illustration. This turned me to create a story.
But it was without an initial idea. Tutor advised me to look into an origin and connection to the purple. This allows me to connect it into a background of course, and in the creation. Not a long time ago I have starting to be inspired by Native American culture. I think it would be a perfect motive for my story. They were very sensitive in describing nature. Contrary to European, they were appreciate Mother Earth. Therefore, the colours were initial in their lives. As well as I posted it previously, they could be inspired by it.
Research purple in Native American culture:
''The color purple was not used as war paint or face paint. It was seen as a sacred color and symbolised power, mystery and magic. The color of purple was produced from coneflowers, Blueberries and hibiscus.''(Symbols et al., 2021)
Considering this, purple has a magical spirit. Something that took place just before the sun goes down. It reminds me of the animation from my childhood. I mean Pocahontas, one of the most known Disney's productions. There was a particular moment when she stands on the cliff. When everything started moving around her, basically she was falling in love, but it was a moment when we could feel the magic. Colourful leaves were flying and a whole world stopped. Unfortunately I did not remember the whole movie. But I think I do not need it because I want to use something that stayed in my mind, which seems to be connected to this project.

You are clearly considering your options here but it would be beneficial to hear a clearer idea about what you intend to do in terms of the story outline, your outcomes, the techniques you are going to use. Therefore you should post your SMART outcomes before you come to your tutorial in Week 3 so there is a firm idea about what you plan to do.
