Art Portfolio: Target market/Customer Profile

Today I decided to share my analyses about the target audience based on sheets from class. There will be a lot of speculation about the topic of my Set Project. On the one hand, the book can suits for seniors, on the other hand, it can be enjoyed by younger part of society.

In this situation, I can connect to the music taste. In general, people who love to listen to a particular type of music will buy the album dictated to their taste.

Moreover, I considered sharing the process of creating a customer profile.

My customer profile would be definitely a Baby Boomer. However, the outline and design are directed to the younger generation. The information sheet represents the oldest part of society. They have a tendency to look after their grandchildren in order to help them financially. Even though they take care ''to set them on the right course''. In relation to my project, the encouragement can be passing through the grandparents to the younger generation.

However, picturising one of the most recognisable band of the last century can meet expectation alongside the Millenial and Gen Z generation without recommendations from Baby Boomers.

It can be difficult in terms of illustration style, some of my researches are truly 60s aesthetic. However, in those times this art appearance was stimulating mainly young adolescents.

Considering the passing time and new generations, the art acronym is defined by numerous inspirations. For instance, in my recent research presentation, I talked through the later concepts based on Sgt.Pepper cover. They were made in different years after and those artists have taken initial things for them. Not everybody has the same idea and visualisation of the finished projects. Therefore, by conducting various researches I can evaluate my design in a conceptual way.

I came to the conclusion, that reprocessing the old pieces of art can grand a brand new image. I will try to customize all strips in my own way. This should give an outcome directed for the Gen Z generation as well.

In the next lesson, regarding the target audience, we needed to create a customer profile. The tutor put me in the group with Andre, however, due to the internet connection I left the lesson. Afterwards, tutor managed to replace me with someone else in order to let Andre complete the task. Therefore, I have asked how to complete the task in my free time.

The tutor suggested conducting a questionnaire on someone else. I decided to ask my cousin to help me with this task.

I place the screenshot from google doc. I gave basic information about the customer, the shopping behaviour and judging from the answers, I created key strategies to convince her to buy.

I decided to make the design of the profile from the resume template. I chose the one with beige colours tailored to my customer preferences. I tried to simplify the section with motivations, by amplifying goals as well.

Here is a finished customer profile. I collected the most relevant points to share my strategies. I took some of them from the suggestions and emails which I receive from time to time from online shops. I applied the pictographic elements as a measure of grades. The dark colours from the picture and name titles work perfectly with pastel shade background.

This task helps me to define the target audience. It helps me to understand how to impact potential customers and how I can improve their experience. Now, by relying on the customer desires I can manage the data from their profiles to enhance a particular service. Unfortunately, I can't relate it to my project. Nevertheless, this knowledge I will use in coping with future tasks.

Set Project: Final 3D piece

It is high time to show the final 3D outcome. I have been waiting for a sunny day to take a picture of Mr Kite. I found a perfect corner in the window ledge. I managed to find some white sheets for the ''session''. Unfortunately, they were curved and undulating and having no extra ones I tried to make it professional.  All this showcase is after Photoshop edit.  On those shoots I wanted to emphasise his posture. Nevertheless, it is still a bit stiff. Here I captured all his attributes in front of him. And one more, with his hands up. Which personally, I can compare them with gorilla's.  I took two pictures from different angles. In order to zoom in the portrait details. In addition, one from the front. I made a few mistakes regarding background preparation. I could glue or taped pages together to avoid the gaps. However, the software edit made a brighter impression, which is definitely an advantage.  Maybe a thicker paper and front light would reach a more prof...

Set Project: The exact reason why and sketches

I have not straightened why I chose to illustrate the lyrics. As you may have noticed, I know quite a lot about music from the last century and always dreamed about the connection with visual art. Especially in this case, when the album is laid out as a story. Therefore, taking advantage of this opportunity I intend to make something familiar using illustration. You see, songs have a lyric - a story. And I want to share with those, by giving my version. In fact, Primitivism is related to the 60s pop culture and the insights I will publish gradually. The album that I chose is unique in terms of the tracklist.  Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band  has no gaps between tracks. Therefore they made an album that sounds like one continuous song. ''Highly debated it is considered as a one of the first concept album'' (The HollyHobs, 2020). Some of the songs had been established according to the newspapers headers/stories.  The reasons why I chose this relation to the theme ...

Set Procject: Finalisation

Here, I sharing with the process of placeing imagines into a mockup. I solved the issue with proper cutting the document. And also presented the second visualisation with a blue background.
