Project sign off

 Today's task made my day. Since I left my previous school, I always dreamed about making a mural. I am in love with large canvas paintings. The never-ending blank boards... I have made a lot of sketches. Those suggested me to come up with particular topics on the bigger spaces. One teacher said to me that I have an endless supply of imaginary. So, to ensure you, I can fill without trouble an A3 page. 

This suggestion is keeping me still. Since then, I have not been worry about the limits in art. At home, above the fireplace, I painted the wall. That was challenging because I did not prepare any project. I bet on my vision. It was a joyful memory. And then I thought: I want to make it more. I am not sure, could I insert here the picture of the finished work? I will be waiting for your feedback.

I come up with a mural project or illustrate the package of the product. The second idea is more related to my progression route, but I think it could take more time for research. The examples from the mood board were taking place under pressure from the book that I read lately. 



At the top of this post, you can see how I have started. Finally, I am sure with the street art idea. Also, I am on my way to approach developing the main message. I have already borrowed resources. It is like a dream come true to me. I am willing to work with a mockup and present the final project displaying on wall examples.

IDEAS GENERATION

The main idea for this project is fighting against coronavirus. Show different aspects, how it is changing people's life. For the first idea, I was willing to relate to Bed-ins for Peace. Today we can describe it as a performance. It was a John and Yoko honeymoon. Taking place in Amsterdam on March 25th 1969. The newlyweds recalled changing people's mindset about the war in Vietnam and the real purpose of the government. Those days were full of violence and unexpected events. The highest majority of the USA has been made the biggest revolutions against citizens. In those times man has been enlisted in the army. Nobody knows how many people dying and how the situation looks like.



Coming back to the bed in happening, the press didn't expect those circumstances. From the avant garde artist Yoko Ono was expected “the century’s most uncensored love-in,” media representatives were surprised to find they merely contracted “hair peace.”The whole action was contained a lot of interviews. We can easily see that those people, who they talking to, were an old-dated point of view. Also the moments like this: “The other side has war on every day, not only on the news but on the old John Wayne movies and every damn movie you see: war, war, war, war, kill, kill, kill, kill,” Lennon told reporters. “We said, ‘Let’s get some peace, peace, peace, peace on the headlines, just for a change!’ are so fresh, even nowadays.

A few months ago, the yt Lennon's channel shared a short video clip.


The reactions from this video are almost unilateral. Everyone approved that we should stay in bed. Okay, but what about the other aspects? We kill this way his appearance. People have starting to perceive that this event was just a joke. In 1969, they were fighting against the government. Now, we can see the one-side reaction. As always, people accorded to the news shall be adopting information about what is happening. It could be unproperly, but I wish to make this project including the fundamental states of street art. Here I insert the details of my sign-off project. As I disscusted with my tutor, I will be using Photoshop and sketchpad. The outcomes will be present on the mockup. The wall photos will be taken by me in places around the campus.

    Good to see exploration of your initial thoughts and ideas on your Milanote: more discussion on the research you have added there needs to be included. Also, further discussion on the post here about your ideas and what your plans are for your project - think about the SMART objectives from the powerpoint in class.

 I have not straightened why I chose to illustrate the lyrics. As you may have noticed, I know quite a lot about music from the last century and always dreamed about the connection with visual art. Set Project: Sketches and coming back to the first plan

In the last days, I concluded that I should focus on the reasons why I choose this topic and the style of this project. I think I started to be weak and not sure what I want to do. I think the reason is in a large number of researches. Same with techniques and artists to look at. I summarise that I am not capable to mix various inspirations at once. I came back to my first inspiration Anto van Hertbruggen. Because I always wanted to make art like that, no matter what's it gonna take. Here I will discuss the elements which I want to use to combine this pice in one. Here is the whole work with the background. As I mentioned before, I looked at how Anton work on his illustrations. He usually filling few sheets in drawings (as layers for one illustration).  First, I found a great view on google maps. I am interested in the territories of Canada and the northern landscape. Welcome to my blog!

Tell me something about yourself:  I am a young artist studying IYZ Art&Design with Graphic Design BA, in De Montfort University. Live in the Leicester city centre. My pathway started since I have been influenced by a close family by Claude Monet’s works. Paintings made by my uncle’s hands were great copies. Those pieces of art have been surrounding me still. I have been studying at Art School in Bydgoszcz, were I gain helpful skills and workshop.  I would like to explore more possibilities to share my skills. The significant key of my artworks made by oil paints is the variously, including different textures and mediums. I’m sure that our expressions and feelings made us artists.
