Today I was focusing on the major project. I visualized my process of thinking, mostly basing on my sketchbook. To see the process, please check this link.
I have spent some hours to analyzing the other artists' process. I found out interesting ideas, keywords which will help me in developing my idea. Some of them I included in my digital sketches. The project should concentrate on flustrating aspects of the current situation. Lots of ideas come into my mind, so I decided to note each one. Firstly, I made notes on piece of paper or my phone then collected on sketchbook sheets. Then I can easily notice my development.
Sheets dragged on milanote website, have been made digitally on Photoshop. Working on Wacom computers led me to be imaginative. Explore variations of tools and functions will prepare me to the final works. I can precise the colours and texture without putting a lot of effort. This way digital outcomes allow me to distinct differences between real drawing.
The initial sketches here are a good start, but you mention that you did things in Photoshop as well, but there is no evidence of that part of the process here shown via screenshots. All steps are important to show, especially when you are developing your work and the final pieces.
ReplyDeleteYou have got book references, which is great to see, but make sure that you discuss in more detail what you have taken from the research, the inspiration you have got and it would be good to include images from those books of the artwork that has been looked at and analysed.
I like how you presented some pictures with evidence that you might use. Perhaps comment more on your thought process throughout the initial sketches and how they helped you develop your work. Adding notes or sentences underneath each picture explaining your inspiration and meaning will be really helpful to the people viewing your blog as it will help them visualise your thought process.
