Today I have to spend a few hours in front of the Wacom computer working on one of the sketches. I picked up one of the ideas, then I managed a few variations and perspectives to endure the initial objects. I had taken from the book Street sketchbook (2007) some inspirations how to illustrate the body or face areas. In this example, it was a face mask and viruses. All the process I have been preparing in Photoshop. I have to work on A4 format with 400dpi pix/inch, which is a standard ratio for illustration. I insert screenshots of how my work has been evaluating.
Starting from a cut of the sketch form my board and released into my new page. The blank page I covered with the drawing. I have changed the sizes, created the new layers. Then I made each element by the feather tool. Everything I tried to keep in greyscale to define the distance up to the foreground.
And the grey tones I switched into the wide colour range. I have been trying to indicate the role of flying viruses. So I refine for them the selected colour: light green.
When I assessed the colour clarify, I have started adding shadows. To do this, I usually pick one of the most textured brushes (like pastels) and changed the next layer into a clipping mask. And over again I have been repeating this process. Same as here.
Finally, with a tiny brush, I added the attached elements of the virus body.
And the final graffiti I saved in png format. To review the final product, I inserted the listed file into my mockup.
Here I attached the photography from book pages - my inspirations.
The idea was taken from my mind, however I have been inspiring from the:

Nice process post here and I like the use of the software. If you have got access to the books, then I would add some photos of the pages you've used to help you with the work here. To add further to this post include some reflection on the final outcome - is there anything you will change? Do you think it is successful as a piece?
