Major project - last edit

Finally, I decided to post the last piece. The project evaluated from the small object into two personalities. Below I attached first sketches, the concept evaluated when I was making the rest of the pieces. Structure and picture which I have been looking for did not change. Still, the colours and tones are related to Banksy's mural conceptions.

On the upper photo, it is easy to see the triangle structure. I reckon that it was a common procedure in urban art. Especially you can see it in the previous post with resources.
The rose was changed into a mask. I decided to simplify the message.
After a few sessions in Eric Wood building, I have learned how to catch characterise elements of the face and draw as well.

In many of Banksy's wall arts, I saw the titles indicated by someone. For example, the child who was looking into the object with the message. Or a scene when someone is actually writing the message.

My self-study time extremely reduced during the past week. I tried my best to make the ends meet. The worst thing came when I cannot enter to Eric Wood building. This turned me to end my project on my device without a Wacom pen.

The steps were familiar to the previous outcomes. I feel badly with a ''smart look'' of this piece. I really wanted to finish the faces, give a unique appearance. Furthermore, it should be the biggest final outcome. But it not looks like I wish to be.
To the pros, I can score the colours divides. In comparison with the nude tones, green and red are catching the eye. So the message meets the requirements.
Maybe it is not in the same vibe as the previous works from this series, but the connection I see in green accents symbolise the virus.

Art Portfolio Project: First update - The story

When I took a look for the sign off sheet, it made me think about the story for my Leporello. I pointed out the initial ideas and spirit of the whole story.  It will not be act-playing roles, no dialogues. This six pieces story will take a viewer into a mysterious world of Native Americans.  I spent a lot of time thinking about how I want to present the culture and sense of spiritual world perceive by tributes eyes. I interested in the beliefs of this culture. I want to start explaining the background for the strip. Native Americans believed that all living things were watching over by guardian spirits. That could be; trees, wind, animals or people. Mostly, forces of nature.  Usually, the young boys were overcoming the ''journey'' to become a man. They believed that the guardian spirit, once fund, would bestow a special power on the boy and then, he would return to the tribe. Meaning of great spirit was a bit similar to be watched by an angel in the Christian religi...

Set Project: The exact reason why and sketches

I have not straightened why I chose to illustrate the lyrics. As you may have noticed, I know quite a lot about music from the last century and always dreamed about the connection with visual art. Especially in this case, when the album is laid out as a story. Therefore, taking advantage of this opportunity I intend to make something familiar using illustration. You see, songs have a lyric - a story. And I want to share with those, by giving my version. In fact, Primitivism is related to the 60s pop culture and the insights I will publish gradually. The album that I chose is unique in terms of the tracklist.  Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band  has no gaps between tracks. Therefore they made an album that sounds like one continuous song. ''Highly debated it is considered as a one of the first concept album'' (The HollyHobs, 2020). Some of the songs had been established according to the newspapers headers/stories.  The reasons why I chose this relation to the theme ...

Set Project: Final 3D piece

It is high time to show the final 3D outcome. I have been waiting for a sunny day to take a picture of Mr Kite. I found a perfect corner in the window ledge. I managed to find some white sheets for the ''session''. Unfortunately, they were curved and undulating and having no extra ones I tried to make it professional.  All this showcase is after Photoshop edit.  On those shoots I wanted to emphasise his posture. Nevertheless, it is still a bit stiff. Here I captured all his attributes in front of him. And one more, with his hands up. Which personally, I can compare them with gorilla's.  I took two pictures from different angles. In order to zoom in the portrait details. In addition, one from the front. I made a few mistakes regarding background preparation. I could glue or taped pages together to avoid the gaps. However, the software edit made a brighter impression, which is definitely an advantage.  Maybe a thicker paper and front light would reach a more prof...
