About me page - blog post

It is a busy day. Since I have started the sign-off project, my coffee rations increase almost x2 times! Okay, that was just digression.  Welcome again! Today I Finished the about me page. From the design side, I did not have any trouble. I am convinced that the template I have chosen is still being right. I adore the white backgrounds, strong, contrasting fonts. Furthermore, I can't wait for the full filled page, with finished pieces and shoots of them. On the other side, it was a lot of language experiences. I have a lot of trouble with using the right words. The teacher has presented examples, articles on how to write the best bio. I tried really hard to put into words my personality. Honestly, this took me almost an hour. Still, I am not satisfied with the results. I think the reason is the amount of taking after propositions. In that kind of situation, I check out every portfolio websites. When I did the artist's page research, I still was staring into my case.  The time ...

Choosing a website template

On today's lesson we arranged the portfolio website.  I decided to choose the general template for graphic designers. I really enjoy the structure of the main page. I can find it clearly jump into the bookmarks. The same as scrolling the page for interesting section.   ''Whether you prefer a trendy postcard look or you’re going for a more editorial style blog - there’s a stunning layout for everyone.''(Wix) According to this words, I decided to believe them and leave the ready made strip.  But I reckon that the menu button is to heavy in the overall layout. I have changed this into a Times New Roman font with fine lines above the title and under it. The idea of keeping viewer attention encourage me to customise the menu button at the end of the page as well. I chose an oval skin tone shape to easy identify the contain text.  I can't wait to post loads of engaging content. But I am not so sure what exactly I will define on the content pages. I only have a m...

Project sign off

Today's task made my day. Since I left my previous school, I always dreamed about making a mural. I am in love with large canvas paintings. The never-ending blank boards... I have made a lot of sketches. Those suggested me to come up with particular topics on the bigger spaces. One teacher said to me that I have an endless supply of imaginary. So, to ensure you, I can fill without trouble an A3 page.  This suggestion is keeping me still. Since then, I have not been worry about the limits in art. At home, above the fireplace, I painted the wall. That was challenging because I did not prepare any project. I bet on my vision. It was a joyful memory. And then I thought: I want to make it more. I am not sure, could I insert here the picture of the finished work? I will be waiting for your feedback. I come up with a mural project or illustrate the package of the product. The second idea is more related to my progression route, but I think it could take more time for research. The e...

Project 1: Sequential images

Here I attached photos of my brainstorm notes. The first idea was about simple movement. Looking up for the things that surrounded me, I decided to use a thread. With a kindly agree, my flatmate participated as a model for posing. Next, following the instructions, I insert 6 photos in collage. In my opinion, the idea wasn't bad. During complete this task, I noticed, if I had more time and a different environment it could look better. As for self-studying, I came up with an idea that I present in the picture below.  Update: In terms of the first touch with the university environment, I did not realize the structure of the blog post. That is why this looks like a not completed well. As being a student, further 0-year attendant, I do not have enough knowledge and language skills. And the solution for that is a module with constant learning. Watching the student's progress is more valuable than notoriously (monotonous) update old posts. I reckon that I have to improve in a blog p...

Project 2: Adertisement

Today I'm focusing on new project. My device sources only allowed me to come with my doggy photos. So, I decided to move with awareness campaign.  It's a german shepherd. Before I left home, she had given a birth (of two little ones). That was fascinating and moving. And I realized, that we are the same laws and naturality. I have started my brainstorm process. After all, I forgot working on photoshop A4 page. But quality is still the same. The final pieces you can see below. As usuall, I'm not sure which one is more appropirate to the title. This I leave for more experienced person. Update: Research Why have I chosen this colour for the background? I tried to get into people's mind to remind them the ordinary for example milk advertisements. Companies decided to choose blue colour for this occasion. Why? I made a research in terms of how people perceive that kind of things. ''Blue is the colour of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stabilit...

Welcome to my blog!

Tell me something about yourself:  I am a young artist studying IYZ Art&Design with Graphic Design BA, in De Montfort University. Live in the Leicester city centre. My pathway started since I have been influenced by a close family by Claude Monet’s works. Paintings made by my uncle’s hands were great copies. Those pieces of art have been surrounding me still. I have been studying at Art School in Bydgoszcz, were I gain helpful skills and workshop.  I would like to explore more possibilities to share my skills. The significant key of my artworks made by oil paints is the variously, including different textures and mediums. I’m sure that our expressions and feelings made us artists. In my artworks, I’m trying to take after my deep feelings of research and my inquisitiveness. Furthermore, I’m fascinated by the 50’s and 60’s century artists. Especially, Futurist artist like Boccioni, Silva, Gonzalez. Their appearance have been a tremendous impact on my art.  Claude Monet...
